Putting Safety First: Celebrating World Day for Safety & Health at Work

Knauf Insulation today celebrates the World Day for Safety and Health at Work with activities involving all employees in all countries in which we operate.

"A safe working environment requires the engagement of each individual as well as teamwork. That's why everyone at Knauf Insulation can and should speak up about safety when they see any risk at work, just as everyone deserves feedback — whether their behaviour is safe or not — from a colleague who cares about their well-being. In this way, we take care of ourselves and others and show in action one of the key Knauf values — Menschlichkeit (humanity)," said Dominique Bossan, Chief Executive Officer for Knauf Insulation Europe, Middle east, Asia-Pacific regions and member of the board of directors of the Knauf Group on the occasion of April 28, World Day safety and protection at work.

As part of the campaign, which is carried out in every country where Knauf Insulation operates, the focus is on the 'Safety Feedback' culture, i.e. getting into the habit that everyone can freely point out unsafe behaviour, situations or practices in order to improve everyone's safety.

Knauf Insulation has been an active participant in marking this day since 2016, and this year more than 4,500 colleagues in 21 factories in 15 countries in the Europe, Middle East and Asia-Pacific regions will join the 'Safety Feedback' campaign.
